AI and Human Race - Point of NO return This post is NOT curated NOR written by AI, for a reason

Purely from ONE human to another

While everyone is busy with the #AI bandwagon in different capacities such as

  • Some doing AI/RAG/LLM
  • Others making $ in NVDA and others
  • While majority have replaced search engine aka google with AI tool of their choice for everyday activities

What we completely lost is that, this is a HUMANITY altering event that NEVER took place, not at least in the past 1000’s of years.

Even if we were to go back the past 100 years alone

  • Industrial revolution - Benefited humans and they enjoyed the fruits
  • Computers - Same
  • Phones/Smart Phones - Same, but Cognition has declined significantly owing to this alone, NOT to mention, human to human connection is totally lost

ALL/Most of these “augmented” Human evolution AND its IQ/brain development.

AI is here to completely remove that

Before you start thinking of doom-gloom, ponder on this

  • Everyone alive with a computer and even phone is now well aware of how to easily use Chatgpt/Copilot or Gemini to get everything they need - in a pre-packaged form - in seconds (Google Search seems like pre-historic era thing now)
  • What happens when you get everything you need in that fashion? Quality of life and productivity increases.

BUT

As a human, ponder on this - HOW much did you use your brain power to accomplish all of that? ZERO.

It is a known FACT in Neuroscience that Brain Cells and Neural Networks develop along with Neuroplasticity when humans were given MORE challenging activities and they “THINK”. This is the same chain of thinking as to why humanity was given riddles and puzzles all through its evolution, early on as part of childhood development.

What happens when human race as a whole STOPS thinking and OUTSOURCES its brain to AI?

One might ask, hey you shared the problem - What is the solution?

I dont know. Because AI is already far too deep-rooted into human race for this to be reverted back. Maybe as NEO says in the movie #Matrix - Machines have Taken over

But the problem is - 99.99% population doesn’t even know this is a problem - hoping this post creates awareness AND dialog on how to solve this.

We cant solve a problem that we dont know exists.

I still have confidence in Human race to pull this one off, before its too late - where both AI and “Human brain” survives in tandem - because if nothing is done in this area - within a generation, human race would have forgotten the word “THINK”, let alone “Critically THINK”

All the “Zombie apocalypse” movies we watched for decades thinking its comedy, What if we were merely being prepared for whats coming?

This Cognitive Debt cannot be repaid nor recovered from. As humanity, we all have acquired ONE COMMON Skill - We all have become PROMPT engineers - while losing every other.
